Sorry, I just had to tell someone!! Rolled the old classic out of the garage on Wednesday morning (MOT booked for later that day!!) and fitted a new 6V battery c/o those fine people at Lincon Batteries. (I knew the old battery was getting a bit flakey at the end of last season - and the car has been laid up since last September!) Fitting the batttery involves removing the bonnet as it sits amidships against the bulk-head. Checked oil and water...petrol pump primed, full-retard, full choke, pull starter and BB-Broom away she goes first pull!! Drive directly to the MOT station (local garage approx 400 meters away!) - and 1 hour later - TA-DA! One freshly printed MOT! Not bad for a 53 year-old Citroen Traction. Not bad at all! Huge grins as I take it on outings in all this sunny weather! See you at Bromley!! Cheers Chris
